Pierre Elliot Trudeau was a great canadian Prime Minister as well as a great leader not only in society but also in education and business.

Trudeau was a poltican,writer, lawyer and Prime Minister of Canada from 1968-79 and 1980-84. Trudeau was born into a wealthy family. He attended the University of Montreal, Harvard and London school of Economics. Trudeau also loved to travel. Trudeau got his start as a liberal under the leadership of Lester B Pearson and Trudeau was appointed minister of justice in 1967.

Trudeau gained national attention when he introduced the divorce law reform. This law would be liberalizing the laws of abortion, homosexuality and public lotteries. Trudeau also established a reputation as a defender in favour of a strong federal government. Trudeau then ran for leader of the liberal party of Canada in 1968 and he won on the forth ballot. On April 20th ,1968 Trudeau was sworn in as Canada's fifteenth Prime Minister. This was  the beginning of a national phenomenon "Trudeau- Mania".
